Lieutenant Sergeant Frederic Wilson is such a great character, his actors chemistry with Peter Falk is charming, it's a cool concept to include all the forensic type work in cop dramas that wind up useless in tracking the criminal but Columbo always is respectful

Greenhouse Jungle is such an incredible episode that actually feels like a new season of Columbo. Now you get a peek at bits of the whole episode before digging in, more comedic elements are added while upping the drama with the musical scores, WILSON IS HERE BLESS HIM

Suitable For Framing is definitely where I'd point people to start if they're interested in Columbo. Goofy boo haunted house music, the killer's lethally bad attempt at being cool, his gf's entire Look

And uh the show starts to feel more confident in its formula and every talk with Columbo rules
