just made it home!

this morning I left izmir by car, got to istanbul, flew to berlin, and somehow the hardest part of my trip ends up being getting home from the airport, (normally a 25min journey) sponsored by DB. thanks DB ✨

yeah the first few incidents were with maxes but I remember a few weird cases with 737 800s too! like I think there was one where the emergency door fell down after take off? anyway I know my anxiety is not quite reasonable but still, so many accidents started to happen in the last few years 😅

hotel esplanade are must recommends from me, the hotel has the best price/quality ratio for a spa around berlin imho

I never had lunch or dinner at the hotel, just breakfast and that was quite good. there are a few restaurants in the town center, I’ve been to the steakhouse twice and I think it’s cheap for the quality. it’s also a nice walk to the center from the hotel, by the lake. all in all bad saarow and +
