Bass player of the year nomination

Outside of talking about books, I've been known to play some bass. I've somehow ended up in the top five for Country Music Alberta's Bass Player of the Year. Very thankful to be here and included with many other greats in the province.

I did hear in an interview at some point that Anthony plans to have about 10 Hawthorne books in total. Still lots left in that series. And I think there are 3 James Bond books. Going to give that a try as well!

I could see how that would turn you off of those. It did the opposite and got me into reading more of Doyle’s originals. I just put in my preorder through my favourite local book store for that! Also makes me think that the year following, there could be a new Hawthorne mystery as well!

I'm a huge Anthony Horowitz fan. If you haven't read the two Sherlock Holmes books he wrote, I'd highly suggest those!

I'm halfway through Haruki Murakami's "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World", and I'm enthralled. This is my 3rd Murakami book. Excited to delve into his catalogue.

As a reader, I love digging into authors' catalogues to see the range of their writing.

This was my first year where I really started following F1 and tuning in for the Grand Prix. Fun watching McLaren take home the constructors!

This was a great book and my introduction to Anthony Horowitz! I've since read this series, the Susan Ryland books (magpie murders), and his Sherlock Homles books. He has a terrific catalogue.
