We launched #StrikeEndoOut to bring the conversation about endometriosis to new audiences and crush the stigma about women’s health that breeds silence and contributes to lengthy diagnosis delays and failed treatment options.

What if we could harness a love of baseball and softball and put the power of the game toward making the world better for women and girls with this disease?

Time and again, we’ve seen how sports have made an impact in our world. Fans after all are passionate people.

For many women, lengthy diagnosis delays are common. An individual may see an average of eight doctors over 10 years before they are diagnosed.

Excruciating pain, heavy menstrual bleeding, and overwhelming fatigue leads to days out of school and work, missed sports practices and games, and hours in bed and away from family and friends.

200 million people across the globe live with a chronic disease that causes debilitating pain. There is no cure, and the exact cause is still unknown.
