- [ ] an A.I. powered robot performs stand-up comedy on stage. The narrator says: "RUBY AI, the A.I.-powered comedian continues his Advanced "Civilization" tour. 

"Look, I'm not human, I'm just an AI", he says. "I don't get you peeps sometimes! For example: You all want to go to Mars!!" This makes the the audience laugh.

"All *I* need to survive is electricity. You guys need air, at a certain pressure, at a certain temperature!" -- next to Ruby an illustration appears. The top half of it shows a robot and a human happily existing on earth, the temperature is perfect! The bottom half, however, takes place on Mars. And it is way too cold! We see a robot holding a shovel standing next to tomb stone. The human didn't survive!

"Logically speaking, you should never want to go to Mars for the same reason I never want to go to Texas!"

An A.I. powered robotic comedian named Ruby is doing his standup routine. He says: "Did you know that my whole set is A.I. generated? That means one of you sweat-factories spent a pile of money to train me on the classic routines you've all head a zillion times. And not, you know... survival!!" The audience chuckles, Ruby continues his skit... "That's right, one of you said "I don't want seeds to plant or a bow and arrow today, what I really want is someone to build a machine that can tell that old joke again. Only... make it different." The audience laughs even more. Ruby finishes... But not TOO different. I don't want original comedy, I want it to be familiar. In fact, get your BEST scientific minds on that!" The audience laughs and applauds. fin.

In the year 2088 many business-class hotels and resorts have automated Comedians providing 24-hour entertainment for their customers.

I've been kicking around a story idea that involves someone seeing an alien in-person for the first time. This guy is middle-aged, his fur graying. He's recently divorced so he had lights put in to brighten up his plumage.

Early story dabblings called for a spacefighter. I built a primitive that looked cool from several angles then rendered for a paintover. That helped evolve the shape. The ring design turned up in the Mining Ship!

My wife got me a Transformer for Christmas, I loved the modern detail on it so much I photo'd it to do a fanart-paintover. I had the G1 toy as a kid. PowerGlide was distinct because there were few Autobot airplanes!

Mining Ships are fully automated. The reason this one has a family living aboard is that automated pirate ships will not risk human life. Safer! Since the trips last months, they actually have a 2bd 2ba house aboard!

This is another view of the Mining Ship. I painted a blueprint and plastered it on a 3d model. Then I relit it and did little to show how the "wheels" turn into space thrusters.

While doing tutes in #Procreate I followed a few of Art Sherpa's. By this one I felt confident enough to drew my own kitty! I added the ttute and AS's logo because I was proud of my progress and wanted to share that.

Glad I did, I had forgotten this one was Art Sherpa's tute. I miss her. ❤️
