My students & I spent our @huntercollege.bsky.social grad seminar yesterday talking about these remarkable women, Claude Cahun & Marcel Moore. A longtime same-sex couple, they not only produced a body of remarkable photos together but also heroically resisted the Nazis on Isle of Jersey during WWII

The work investment on these new paintings is a little like gardening. There’s a big time investment at the beginning but then you are just watering it and waiting while you research.

I was thinking of doing a personal bandcamp archive myself and I don’t feel like contacting every small label. I also want to organize the releases by theme in more of a compilation.

I put this out in my label around 2010. It’s a great album! I’m glad someone uploaded it because I don’t want to run a label Bandcamp.

This will be at my show at EVA tomorrow, 02/06. oil on board.

The average public school in the U.S. has 500 students. ICE is currently detaining over 7 schools' worth of children, many of whom are being held in inhumane conditions.

Children do not belong in government detention.

I made this cabbage soup with cabbage from the garden. I used twice the cabbage that the recipe called for and I still have more cabbage leftover!
