I found a computer in decent shape that had Pentium D 830 3.0Ghz processor (i have a soft spot for the Pentium D).

but this also gave me the chance to use my Pentium 4 540 3.2 Ghz cpu.

i know i can always swap them but, would you keep the D or 4 in the machine?

i think i will do that.

my dream P4 build is a socket 423 processor with willamette core. problem is finding decent amount of RDRAM
