Oh, it’s finally finished, the revised draft of the first release of Calculated Risk, written in r̶e̶d̶ i̶n̶k̶ pencil! 45 pages. Spent more time on this than I meant to, but I really love it. I’m scared as shit to get an editor. I owe it to my sons, though. First time getting lightheaded from the ink.

I promised myself I wouldn’t post them until I’ve finalized designs, but I can’t wait! These are the protagonists of my Visual Novel, Calculated Risk. Now all I gotta do is draw the rest of their sprites, facial expressions… scripting… editing… beta testing… fuck. Fuck it! I’ve got this!

I’m pessimistic about what struggles I’ll have to deal with in 2026, both those in my control and out. I’m tired of learning from my many mistakes. I know that everything I’ve done has shaped me to be who I am today, for better and worse. I have to remind myself to have hope, but it’s always there.
