Her icy blue eyes can't help but linger on the corkboard pinned up on the wall before she takes a long swig of her glass, letting out a tired sigh afterwards. ]

Then, expect a call from me once I've found a proper time for us to meet.

[ Her hand comes to her chin in thought, already narrow eyes further squinting as she considers the idea. ]

... I'll need to set aside time in my schedule. But I suppose lunch with a friend could be a fine way to celebrate the day.

I'm not very fond of more hectic things, as my earlier statement would suggest.

I'd have to be there, as the gathering's for myself.

I prefer not to make a large fuss over it, but tomorrow happens to be my birthday. And as it tends to coincide with the New Year, Noelle often likes to arrange a party at Town Hall for me later in the week.

... Hmm. I am a bit behind on schedule today, so I'll unfortunately have to decline.

There will be a similarly small gathering later at the Town Hall this week, however, arranged by my daughter. Perhaps you'd be interested.
