I think he addressed that - because it's much cheaper to charge off-peak, so sometimes you won't charge completely each session before the off-peak period ends.

I'm chill - My point is it would be very rare for you to completely drain the battery in that hypothetical EV4, so it doesn't matter if it takes 2 days - you can still drive the car after a few hours on the first day. My counterpoint is it doesn't matter "how much power is in cars"

Which "mid range" EV has a 97.5kWh battery? We drive every day based on a similar amount of solar production with 2 EVs - It's not the problem you think it is - in fact - we restrict the cars to charging before 3pm because that's when we get paid most for feeding the grid
