A drawing I made comparing how network executives probably mandate that anime styles have to look the same in order to "make audiences know that it's an anime", and how Ren and Stimpy would actually look like in an anime. The latter is inspired a lot by Doraemon, Anpanman, and Shaman King (with their parody of Ren and Stimpy, Ponchi and Conchi) ngl I found it fun doing the designs on the left. I only did this as a light jab at how Western corporations often treat cartoons and anime.

ever noticed how many cartoons usually portray anime styles as the same "pseudo-shonen" Pokemon-Yugioh-Sailor Moon esque hybrid styles? Still happens recently, and I made a Ren and Stimpy drawing parodying that. All in good fun.
