Keith Giffen absolutely kills it in this run. He's doing a pseudo Jack Kirby impression with dynamic action all over the page. Ironically, he later regretted his time on the book and called himself unprofessional. It doesn't show IMO, though having a great inker like Klaus Jansen couldn't hurt.

There were Marvel books in the late 70's like Marvel Two-In-One, Avengers and Fantastic Four where Perez and Byrne seemed to pass the books back and forth, almost trying to outdo each other and in the process created an amazing experience for fans.

Nearly every plot is solved by a “Person who knows better than anyone else”. Season 2 Episode 6 has the Enterprise blowing up an important mining installation on the word of a hallucinating crewmember.

Watching #StrangeNewWorlds. I really like like the cast but oh my god the scripts. Logic leaps, plot holes, really just a mess. Multiple episodes allow randoms access to critical systems by clearly ill or insane personnel.
