Smith buried him by pointing out that the right to a speedy trial applies to both defendants *and* the prosecution, per MULTIPLE SCOTUS rulings.

109/ He referred it to the proper office for investigation, and made sure the court was aware of it. He ultimately deemed it "not credible", and noted that Woodard *himself* disputed that any direct threat was made.

In short, Harris lied, and Smith took him to the cleaners for it.

108/ Mark Harris tried to claim that Smith threatened Stanley Woodard's "future employment prospects" as a lawyer in order to get him to flip on Trump.

There's no evidence this happened. The allegation was from *before Smith took over*, and he thoroughly investigated it.
