3/ Trump is a failure. We need our leaders to step up and reverse his failed policies and work for the American people instead of Trump and his billionaire benefactors.

2/ It's time for Republicans to admit the truth: their Dear Leader's policies have failed. Our economy is imploding (the 3% growth rate for Q2 was completely artificial), job growth has stalled, and jobs are being lost at record rates.

1/ The latest jobs report was bad. But the revisions made to the last months were even *worse*. And even right-leaning media is being forced to admit this.

15/ Most of Washington, including the President and our HHS Secretary, couldn't meet these standards; imposing them on kids is just cruel.

We need to do better. We owe the kids that much.

14/ I truly don't think that this test should be revived. It was proven to be a failure, a waste of time and money that did nothing but hurt kids. But if we're going to bring it back, let's adjust the standards.

13/ Every single body is different, everyone has differing levels of physical ability, and the standards need to reflect this. And no kid should *ever* be shamed or stigmatized because they didn't meet the standards or couldn't take the test at all.

12/ More importantly, we need to stress that *not* meeting the standards is okay too, that what matters is that they're healthy and that they do the best that they can do.

11/ Now, don't get me wrong; I'm not saying physical activity and education isn't important for kids. On the contrary, it's VERY important. But the standards need to be realistic.

10/ That's the problem with this test. The standards are unrealistic, and because of this, a lot of kids won't be able to meet them. They'll be stigmatized and ostracized, made to feel anxiety and shame. This test will do nothing but hurt kids.

9/ For the rest of my school days, I avoided physical activities and sports in school (though I loved running around and riding bikes with friends). I took the required gym courses, but I hated every minute of them. All of this is because I would always get mocked for being small and weak.

8/ My parents and teachers were understanding, but my classmates were not. I was mocked and ridiculed, and made to feel even weaker, all because I didn't have the physical strength or athletic ability they did.

7/ I couldn't even do a single pull-up. I felt weak and humiliated, even though I knew I did the absolute best that I could.

6/ And I did BADLY.

Every single one of my trials was well below the qualifying standards. My running was slow and difficult. I couldn't bend well due to scoliosis (a side-effect of the surgery), so the V-Sit and curl-ups were just as bad.

5/ The Presidential Fitness Test was sheer HELL for me, and I remember dreading it for weeks before each test (there were two tests that year).

4/ As a result, I hated gym class in general because I felt so small and weak next to my peers, who often bullied and ridiculed me for having so little physical strength or athletic ability.

3/ I was actually somewhat physically delayed compared to my classmates; I had reconstructive surgery to fix a congenital rib cage defect at age six (I quite literally had most of my ribs broken and re-set), and the recovery from that was quite long, forcing me to miss an entire year of gym.

2/ I took the test in fifth grade, just about 30 years ago, and I hated every second of it. I was a very small boy, much smaller than my classmates, and while I was pretty skinny, I had no muscle mass.

1/ I'm dismayed to see this. I was glad when Obama got rid of this test because it doesn't accomplish or "prove" anything. It uses horribly unrealistic and pointless standards, which stigmatizes kids who don't perform well.

12/ He wants us to stop talking about his connections to Epstein because he knows it's killing his support.

Don't fall for it. Don't focus myopically on the Epstein scandal either. Look at the whole picture so you can see the crook behind the curtain.

11/ Bottom line: this a waste of time and money, no matter how you look at it. It's false, and every rational human being knows this. But Trump doesn't care whether this is true; he's doing this purely as a distraction.

10/ Finally, even if Gabbard's claims were true (which they emphatically are *not*), Obama can't be prosecuted thanks to the Supreme Court wrongly granting Presidents immunity.

9/ The House report Gabbard is citing actually backs most of the conclusions of the intelligence agencies, which, again, she'd know if she'd read the report.

8/ Ergo, her entire "treasonous conspiracy" claim is utter bullshit because there's nothing here even *resembling* criminal or treasonous conduct, which she'd know if she'd read any of the reports or the Constitution's definition of "treason".

7/ None of these investigations were ordered by Obama, and he didn't interfere or intervene in any way. He stayed out of them and let them proceed accordingly.

6/ Putin did want to sow discord, as Trump and Gabbard claim, but he also wanted Trump to win. If you don't believe me, there's video of him standing on stage in Helsinki in 2018, next to Trump, stating this clearly.

5/ Intelligence agencies, under Presidents Obama and Trump, found that Russia interfered in the 2016 election in order to help Trump's candidacy. Every single one of our intelligence agencies reached the same conclusion.
