i've been thinking lots about her mindset for roleplay purposes right now and it's why i'm sad lol. happy to be part of playing such a beautifully cared for character but sad because i'll never stop writing tragic characters

it's starting to hit her now that her loved ones from her past are moving at a slower pace than she is. they're ageing and she's not. so she's basically swore an oath to dedicate her immortal life (one that may see the very end of the world) to giving them as comfortable a mortal life as possible

her transformation (a shadeshifter, which is basically a starlit ghost) causes her to forget the less important memories of her mortal life. she can remember the most important parts, which are usually more trauma-filled. so when she looks back on her mortal life she's feeling an immense pain!

she was once a scared little orphan on the cobblestoned streets of a city that hated the poor. now she's an eldritch hero of legend and still she understands herself less than she once did!

she looks to the stars, knows she's now their immortal voice and saviour, and feels an intense responsibility. she's constantly protecting innocent people from cosmic harm, and it's wearing her down after all these years. the world nears an apocalypse and she's tired!

seorah's having this realisation lately that she's a weapon built for destruction. she only knows survival. she has no hobbies outside of swordfighting. the only one she has, stargazing, has become a burden.
