Oh I’ve finished replicant, it was entirely fine but it felt like I’d seen it before, I’ve been there, and I was never given a narrative chance to connect or bond with the characters to let that have the impact I feel it was designed for

I’ve tried replicant, and it was a little too.. anime for me if that makes sense? I’m weirdly picky about certain tropes and plots and replicant was a fine game but not a narrative I super cared about

It reminded me of my first experience with dark souls, at least with DS1 I could buy into the mystique and had history with obtuse fantasy but Nier I just can’t get bought into even though I’ve tried like 4 times? I’m not sure why
