It doesn't help that I've barely had time to stream this year between my day job picking up, buying a house/moving, various family & personal medical things, and my inability to stop volunteering to work on projects and/or assigning myself new projects. Oh well, we'll all do the best we can. 2/2

After a week of traveling for work followed immediately by a weekend of traveling for a con, it feels incredible to sleep in my own bed under my weighted blanket.

Sir, if you could only hear the argument in my brain between the "don't scare your fellow neurospicy folk" and "don't make the neurotypicals think you aren't paying attention" whenever I make eye contact with someone...

Thank you everyone for a great weekend! I loved meeting and chatting with everyone! I hope you enjoyed the panels and had a great GATEway FATE!

I really feel like I've made a lot of progress from my first hand at the end of Dragon Con to now at the end of GATEwayFATE--there's still a LOT for me to learn, but with reference guides at hand and my trusty notepad and pen, I feel confident enough that I'm having a lot of fun!

It was awesome getting to meet you as well! And YES join us! The more exposure you have to majhong, especially once you start attempting play, the more it'll make sense. I struggle immensely with learning new games, especially those with a lot of details and rulesets to remember.

I had a lovely time for all the parts of @gatewayfate.bsky.social my body let me attend (much like FFXIV housing, my body is janky)! I love running events and panels, but it was nice getting to simply attend and enjoy meeting so many folks from the community. 💜 I am irrevocably in love with mahjong.

I didn't think a website could function worse than the Dragon Con Passkey booking site during the hotel hunger games but damn, everything I've heard sounds like Secret Lair has stolen that crown.
