When a company in an industry built on hype tells you that a use case is a bad idea—and actually dangerous—that means it’s a *catastrophically* bad idea.

I adore you.
27.02.2026 22:20 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0So many people in the industry don’t want their name next to their abuser in google searches & don’t want that persons name to be the first thing you think of when you hear theirs, and they ask friends to keep their mouths shut as a result. So if you hear someone is shitty or a predator, BELIEVE IT.

Ooh—I’d need to rewatch to see when. Curious if it fits with certain plot moments/moods!

Right back at you.
It’s in other things too—if we accept yellow = happiness (or false happiness), it’s MASSIVELY significant that all the alcohol we see Carol interact with is yellow/gold.
(I could write a thesis on how yellow is used in that show. ASTONISHING design.)
Colorado borders Kansas. Here is a Colorado non-profit that helps trans people relocate, Trans Continental Pipeline.

Also, if you look at the color usage in the show, it tells SUCH a huge story about her and her relationship to the world. (She always wears blue under yellow, etc.)
There is so, SO much intentional design in that show. (The podcast is also really, really interesting, if you feel like some BTS.)
Congratulations!!!

I’m really proud of how EVERYONE has worked to change the industry for the better—it’s extraordinary how things have shifted.
(But yeah, the burnout rate is something that we need to work on, along with people being able to pay their bills/get insurance.)
Yeah. I think something about support and burnout would be part of mine, too. A lot of what I’d want to tell myself is stuff that I actually had to change or build because it didn’t yet exist/wasn’t discussed when I started, though.

In the first two episodes (pretty representative of my season-long response), I:
-said “I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW” out loud 5 times
-cried twice (*tips head down to hide face under brim of cap*)
Best show remains the best.
In light of everything, a reminder:
"The most visible layer as a Black disabled person is our Blackness, which is constantly under the threat of scrutiny, assumed guilt, and, as logically follows, persecution." - Tinu Abayomi-Paul in #TheBlackAgendaBook
Relevant: this applies to new suppliers, but the impact matters — it decreases access. Especially for things like prosthetics or other devices that are using new tech, halting access means users are forced to rely on outdated, oversized, or unreliable devices when better solutions are available.
26.02.2026 00:01 — 👍 44 🔁 6 💬 0 📌 1But even suppliers has the net impact of decreasing access. Particularly in the case of prosthetics, where technology means new companies regularly emerge with devices with new processors/features.
25.02.2026 23:56 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s suppliers, but ultimately, still has the same impact — decreasing access (it already takes over a month post-fitting to get a wheelchair…this slows it more).
It’s repulsive.
