Your take on it is privileged and if you're unwilling to get armed, you can at least choose to be supportive of those on your side who are willing to. Anything you do to strengthen your community increases your odds and right now you're sitting at the gambling table whether you like it or not.

Firearm-related legislature disproportionately affects minorities more than the privileged. The ATF's NFA laws are inherently classist. Reagan's Mulford Act was enacted to disarm the Black Panthers. Bush's LEOSA specifically aimed to give cops more carry rights than other citizens.
