It was 6 years in April since my final gamedev layoff.

I have only recently (past two months) stopped having a terrible, TERRIBLE anxiety attack whenever one of my supervisors says "Hey can we talk?", and stopped feeling existential dread before 1-on-1s.

My theory is that if we taxed most of these people without telling them and the people they pay to manage their money didn't tell them, they'd never notice.
