I did see this resurface on tumblr from a couple years ago - a GitHub chat exporter for Discord.

I’m sure it’s another nail in the coffin for the Muppets that wouldn’t be their fault at all. It’d be nice if they piloted it on a free platform to gauge actual interest.

Heck if it was good enough, maybe that could be an actual selling point for Disney+ for once.

This happens every time with Muppet revivals.

- Something comes out, is great
- Disney puts no ad work into it
- It flops despite being enjoyable but those who saw it
- Disney claims no one liked the Muppets

I need more people talking about how The Muppet Show special that aired this week was amazing, exactly what we needed, and we require more of it.

I may delete this because it’s a bit spicy but it shouldn’t be lost on us that games being turned into TV is essentially harvesting the stories written by those who don’t have union representation or healthcare with WGA by those that do. Our stories are good enough for TV but the writers aren’t?
