The Mariners went out and added pieces at the deadline so that we would never see Mitch Garver and Dylan Moore in a lineup together ever again, yet here we are. Are they trying to throw this game or something?

Dylan Moore needs to be off of this team ASAP.

Julio getting thrown out trying to steal a base with Geno Suarez at the plate with two runners on is less than ideal. What was he thinking?

Especially since we know that our bullpen has been rock-solid all year…

After mentioning Tyler Locklear on here a bit ago I had to go and look at his numbers for the month of July and now it’s even more bizarre that he hasn’t been called up. He’s hitting .443 for the month! .500 on-base and an .803 SLUG. Dude is killing the baseball.

I love players showing emotion on the field but Misiorowski is annoying AF.

When it comes to the Mariners this season, I’m team DO NOT trade top 100 prospects for any rental bat, that includes Geno. Also, for all the Naylor groupies out there wanting to trade Sloan for him… he’s basically a platoon bat that gives you negative defensive value. That’s a big no.

What more does Tyler Locklear have to show in order to be called up? It’s kind of ridiculous at this point.

That Luke Stevenson pick for the Mariners likely means that Harry Ford is being traded soon, which is a major bummer.

Mitch Garver is telling me to pump the brakes on the slander. For what it’s worth, I think even he would admit that he’s been terrible with the bat until now.

Once again checking in to say that Mitch Garver getting regular at bats for this Mariners team is criminal. He’s pretty much a guaranteed out.

That would be a terrible deal considering the Guardians only got a fairly bad pitcher and a comp B pick for him. Harry’s value is far beyond that and we’d only be getting half a season of a rental bat.

Yeah, could be other teams in case the M’s are sellers at the deadline. We better get a monster haul for him if that’s the case. Also likely that our scouts were there to monitor his progress and make sure he’s ready.

Why would they be selling low? Gilbert has been an ace this year, and would be an ace for pretty much any club. His injury was a short term thing, so that wouldn’t impact his value. If any team wanted Gilbert, they would have to make an insane offer.

It definitely could be a service time thing, and if it is, we could see him after the 17th. I worry about the trade piece thing too. I would hate to see him traded for a rental, or a guy with very little controllable time.

But they killed it in the draft though. Arroyo, Martinez, R. White, Horton 🔥, and of course Zabel. I’m feeling pretty bullish that this team will be better than people think.

It could, but I’m also a big fan of the Milroe pick, so I’m hoping he has some time to sit and develop and then be the guy soon.

Jerry’s moves always come back to bite him. Chris Taylor got his shot the other night and took advantage as well.

This Mariners losing stretch has been rough, but thankfully the division is still very much within reach if they can turn it around. We desperately need to cut guys that don’t perform (Garver and others) and call up the young guys like Harry Ford. He’s earned his shot.
