I am in the valley and we have been going to UVA for years. I would appreciate any guidance. I will be calling our care assistant at UVA tomorrow, but today I grieve.

I am mostly concerned about my child, but also, I am worried about retribution and not being able to support myself financially. I try hard not to give in to the panic, but every day it gets worse.

They have come for the children....UVA and VCU will stop offering gender affirming health care for "children under 19". Sooo, my son has to sign up for the draft but can't get medical care? Hmmm.

We have to stop acting surprised. We know what he is doing, he told us. There is a playbook. Living in shock and awe is the best way to get us exhausted and reactive. Know what is happening, stay calm, and work diligently.
