I just heard something that's hit me hard. I'm paraphrasing, but it was basically that in the entertainment industry, you can't be a people pleaser.

That's been one of my biggest weaknesses throughout my creative life, and was the death knell for my first YT channel, when I think about it.

Character acting is a skill she has that I admire. And in the case of this 2nd animatic, she challenged herself to have a character express themselves clearly and strongly using nothing but a single eye. Have a *look* 👁️

Sorry I haven't been posting art stuff lately. Trying to start up my channel has been a bit overwhelming and I've been losing focus as a result.

I'm going to try doing reeeeally small bits of animation as tests before going for something a little bigger. At least then I'll be able to finish things.

There was so much kid death then I was expecting too, I loved it! All in all, probably my favorite V/H/S movie right now! Fun Size is probably tied with Live and Let Dive from last year’s #VHSBeyond. I can’t wait to see what they come up with for next year!

Me and Sam just finished watching #VHSHalloween and, wow, was it good! All of the segments were amazing in their own way, my favorite probably a tie between Fun Size and Home Haunt. And Kid Print was probably the most disturbing segment out of anything from the franchise.

I've been constantly torn on what to kick my channel off with, but the answer has been staring me right in the face: a new intro to myself and the character roster! 😄

The silver lining to being so torn is that now I have ideas on what to do for following videos. Stay tuned!

Christina and I started playing the Pac-Man World 2 remake, and the new opening scene was... not a good first impression. It may have more bells and whistles, but compared to the OG, the execution is just plain mediocre.

Just the reveal of the main villain, Spooky, is like night and day:

I haven't mentioned the short film I'm making in a hot minute, so here's a quick update:

I've been busy outlining the story, which is pretty close to being finished! Once it's done, I'll be drawing up some concept art of the 2 characters, the settings, etc. Looking forward to these next steps!

Eddy from "Ed Edd n Eddy" holding a pick axe and wearing a mining helmet while saying, "I'm a miner, stop!!" This was my misinterpretation of the line, where as I kid I confused the terms "minor" and "miner."

In the Ed Edd n Eddy episode "Once Upon an Ed," one of Eddy's lines is "I'm a minor, stop!!" But when I was a kid I didn't know what the term "minor" was, so I thought he said this and always got confused:

With the Halloweemas season approaching, I'm gonna shoot for making an animated horror short to launch my channel!

The story outline should be finished soon (note: there's almost no dialogue), then I'll be drawing up the 2 characters and 1... other thing.
