This iconic tower is a 23-storey giant built in the 1960's which overlooks Stratford's high street and the Olympic Park. Instead of demolition, we will be retrofitting James Riley Point, reducing CO2 significantly and retaining the heritage of this landmark building, in line with residents' wishes.

Works are officially kicking off at James Riley Point - a moment that has been years in the making, shaped by the contributions of residents and locals, and guided by Newham Council's mission of Building a Fairer Newham, ensuring that community collectively benefit from development.
