For the record, I think what many call "identity politics" are important. We can't truly stand together until we lift every oppressed person up to at least the same level of oppression. But a straight white poor person has more in common with a trans black poor person than a straight white rich dude

Through some Bizarro, liberal version of active theory, many Democrats seem to be realizing that class is the "identity" that has the most impact on 70% of people's lives. Maybe the "Resistance" will turn into organizers and Trump's win will be a net positive? Probably not but I'm an optimist.
