The record is a split between Menelik Wissenatchew & Telela Kedebe. I found it at a small store in Portland for $5.

Been meaning to upgrade my cartridge for a long time and trying to get this warped early 70s Ethiopian 7" to track was the motivation. We cooked this in the oven for a few hours (the store I work at has a flattener) and I don't think it helped, but the Concorde is handling it well.

Love these guys and this album is such a zone. Highly recommend the album on Enja/Inner City which is much more tuneful and energetic.

A year and a few months later, the venue (Hoch Auditorium) was struck by lightning and caught on fire and burned to the ground.
