Granted there are crucial situations in which she does need to wear armor (or to the constant pestering of her peers in the Veilguard). She really does not want to be moving around with hunks of metal.

Being a rogue (and especially a martial artist), Anya's not fond of armor, period. She prefers going to battle unarmed as it allows her to be her fastest.
