Ryan Walters IS evil, but it’s not like most of the state voted for him. This is purely anecdotal, but most people I know here are not voters, and if they are they’re voting during the presidential election and that’s it. Straight party republican.

Poor conservatives, that is, ultimately both parties are parties of the wealthy and will NEVER represent the working class. Republicans are just better at marketing themselves toward blue collar workers.

Most of us hate the government for similar reasons, it’s a messaging difference. If you sit down with conservatives here and get past all the culture war bullshit, they’re class revolutionaries at heart. Fuck the boss man, fuck the cops, and fuck the government.
