Sonic Robo Blast 2 is a fangame built on top of the Doom Legacy engine.

Doom 4 (2016) states that every Doom mod ever is canon, which would place Sonic Robo Blast 2 on the Doom timeline exclusively with absolutely no context with no Sonic the Hedgehog game connected to it.
