Something I'd like to ask of all the Minneapolis Park Board candidates is for them to support a VMT (Vehicle Miles Traveled) reduction target. Minnesota, Hennepin County, and the City of Minneapolis all have strong VMT targets, but up to now MPRB has done almost nothing to help.

In the meantime, state governments must take up the charge here. We’re experiencing a systematic reduction in the public sector’s ability to do anything other than deport.
