Tonight at South High, caucus-goers showed theyβre pushing back against fear and division β organizing, setting priorities, and building power locally.
First stop: My neighborhood DFL caucus meeting at North High.
Caucuses are a place where everyday folks help decide what political parties stand for and who carries those values forward. Grateful to all those who showed up tonight to participate in democracy.
Iβm grateful to Judge Biery for helping to bring Liam Ramos and his father Adrian home.
But it is a sign of how far we are from the normal rule of law that a judge even had to issue a decision like this one.
Drawing on a theme offered by Abraham LincolnββWe the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitutionβ

Caucuses are one way we push back. Theyβre where neighbors come together, organize, and decide the future of our party and our state.
Talk about a split-screen moment.
Minnesotans are standing in the 9 below weather peacefully protesting for our very democracy. Trump is in a tuxedo, going to a ball, rolling around in luxury.
You tell me who the patriots are here.
Watched the live-stream. All the speeches were personal and heartwarming.
Thank you for being there and for speaking so well, Keith.
Iβm inspired by the stories of those who knew Alex and all who gathered last night at the vigil hosted by his union siblings with AFGE. Iβll carry his spirit forward by fighting for justice, compassion, and the world he believed in.

This Black History Month, Iβm honoring the generations of Black Minnesotans who organized, built, dreamed, and refused to accept injustice as inevitable. From the freedom fighters who came before us to the young people shaping what's next, our history is one of resilience and love for community.

01.02.2026 20:26 β π 307 π 69 π¬ 6 π 5I spent the day listening to small business owners across Minneapolis. Many told me the same thing: Operation Metro Surge is hurting their businesses and creating fear for their workers and customers.
Our economy and our communities suffer when fear is the policy. We can and must do better.

Today Iβm visiting local and immigrant-owned businesses impacted by Operation Metro Surge to show up in a real, tangible way.
Supporting local businesses wonβt fix everything, but choosing community, visibility, and support is how we hold our community close and get through this together.
