It would be immensely helpful if our dog could keep the laundry moving while we’re out of the house.

I grew up in extreme charismatic circles with lots of anti-Catholic rhetoric. I’ve spent the last year upset by how inaccurate it all was. We wound up with no tradition and lots of anxiety and gobbledygook.

Spent the first month reading Plantiga for my Spiritual Quests and Theological Reflections class. Now this. Seminary is a wild ride.

In seminary taking a class on the gospel of John and I just… cannot believe all the “right answers” I had that were just one of many ways to interpret the book.

Intro to Theological Education has us choosing a spiritual practice to incorporate into our day to day for the rest of the semester. What would you choose? Something within your tradition or outside your comfort zone?

Me: Do you overthink?

Scott: No, I don’t have time to even underthink.

Excited about this! We’ve been reading Goodacre and Skinner in the Gospel of John class I’m taking.

This was stunning.

Instead of Marco Poloing my best friend in FL at 9:30pm every night when I get out of class, in order to process what I heard/read/learned, I wonder if I should send myself the rants as voice memos so I can track this jarring experience. Might be funny one day lol

First week of seminary ✅

Made a passport appointment for the entire family weeks ago. Got everyone dressed, ready to go, and loaded up in the car. Pulled up my confirmation email to check the address and it’s a post office in Massachusetts and I can’t stop laughing.

Bahahahahahahaha same

So my first seminary class sort of blew my mind.
