Overkill. The Roses exploded with their own sound whereas PS were really really good at making music in styles that were already established. They’re to me what the Primitives were compared to MBV in the Sundae era.

Primal Scream experimented with sounds record to record from 87-91 but they always played it straight, the Roses were simply far more potent on one record and some EP’s.
