A U2 coming in to land at RAF Fairford this evening. The sky was just a horrible grey nothing, so I decided to just get rid of it and quite like the results.

Straight out of camera, this was not a β€˜good’ shot - slightly out of focus, sky blown out, had to be cropped heavily. So I decided to edit it to give it a β€˜vintage’ look - what do you think? Rolls Royce heritage Spitfire at the Midlands Air Festival 2025.

A photograph of a vintage F-86 Sabre with a smoke trail behind it. The aircraft is carrying out a flying display at the Midlands Air Festival which is held each year at Ragley Hall, a stately home near the town of Alcester in Warwickshire in England. The aircraft is flying in a blue sky, with some light white clouds behind it, and a slight glow from the evening sunshine.

Wow - just how long is it since I've posted here? House renovations really took me away from my photography, but now that they're almost finished I'm starting to get out again. This is the Historic Helicopters Westland Sea King HAR3 displaying at the Midlands Air Festival 2025. #helicopter #aviation

Very noice 😊 typically, I was on a course all day Saturday, absolutely gutted when I saw the conditions as I was driving home - too late to get out with the camera πŸ₯΄
