Printing the updated version of this, snake is bigger, hopefully the little issues are fixed (there was some minor warping on the corners). I'm extremely excited to paint one up and see how it looks! 🐍

What's this? Oh, nothing much. Just KICAD VERSION 9RC2 dropped! We are only a couple weeks away from the final release. Test out the nightly builds now and see if you can find any showstoppers that we can fix before that happens.

No new subscriptions in 2025.

I’m horrified by the companies that sell a product with x features and then a year or two later put those features behind a subscription.

I’m hoping the FTC will do something in 2025 (if anyone from the FTC is reading this).

It works really well! I'll be using Pinecil tips most of the time but it's nice to be able to plug in a spade tip for an FPC cable or other oddball tips for uncommon jobs.

This past week I improved my soldering kit with some mini solder spools and a T12 adapter for my Pinecil.

I was cutting lots of small foam inserts and put together an Xacto blade adapter for my Pinecil to speed things up.

I modeled it after the Bit-Butler but made the holes deeper for the longer bits, added holes for magnets, and made them a bit smaller and more portable.
