8 Maryland sheriffs’ offices now partner with ICE, saying it protects communities. Immigrant advocates say the opposite.
Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler, who signed the county’s 287(g) agreement with ICE in 2016, called it “good public safety” when speaking to The Sun.
