We provide the strongest evidence to date for a highly selective cannibalism at the end of Neandertal lineage, 41-45.000 years ago.

The survey aims to better understand how scholars think about bipedalism, its role in defining hominins, and how the frameworks used to study it might be improved.
Please complete it before December 31, 2025.
The IRN Bipedal Equilibrium is funded by the @cnrsecologie.bsky.social. It studies bipedalism through a transdisciplinary, evolutionary, and comparative approach. Its objectives are to advance fundamental knowledge, refine tools, & develop new methodological approaches in the spirit of #openscience.
