4 years ago today we became a charity encouraging dog owners to pick up #litter on walks to protect animals, communities & the #environment plus educating on the consequences of littering. On 20th Nov our movement is 7 years old!🥳

Duthie Park #Aberdeen litterpick. A quiet windy park & a solo effort but 1.8 kgs #litter removed incl bottles & cans taken for recycling, several from the duck pond.

Considering a dog died in April after swallowing a plastic bottle cap in the park, it’s sad to find any. #CWNE

There’s nothing more productive than encouraging folk to join us & protect animals,communities & the #environment

None of us,no matter how hard we try,can do it all alone. It too often leads to overwhelm & frustration at the scale of things. Together, we’re a powerful force❤️🐾

I assure you it’s a genuine image. When you pick up litter regularly in the same area you’re picking up what’s been dropped recently.

Too many folk just don’t think unfortunately. Habits need to change.

As a charity we don’t recommend encouraging an interest in litter although dogs doing it naturally is what inspired us. We encourage dog owners ourselves to remove it to protect animals from harm as so many are injured by it.❤️

Absolutely. Our message is that if we really love animals we don’t drop litter & we pick some up when we can. It’s a very simple daily habit that has a huge impact when we’re out anyway.
