A huge thanks & well done to our 25 volunteers who cleared 13kgs of waste from #Stonehaven Beach & Skatepark this morning on our Aug #beachclean with #plasticfreestonehaven

All cans/bottles were recycled. Our team also weeded & cleaned the Craws Nest. Next clean Sat 6th Sept. All welcome

It’s strange how people cram things into a full bin rather than walk to the empty one 100 yards away. I cleared half of the contents of this bin into the big wheelie bin.

Also cleared the remains of a small fire & 2 abandoned poo bags from #Dunnottar Woods #stonehaven #dogsofbluesky

‘Walking your dog & picking up a few bits of #litter gives you a real sense of achievement & wellbeing. Doctors should prescribe it.

It certainly kept me going during long term ill health a few years ago. Try it!’

Get out on a #litter challenge! A bag, a pair of gloves & a keen eye are all you need!

For an extra challenge, record what you pick up & get them creating a graph.
