We had a fabulous launch of the first #Renfrewshire / #Inverclyde #RepairCafe last Saturday. 4 repairers set to tackle different items from jackets to vacuum cleaners. Some visitors are now future volunteers too! Tea/coffee made sure people connected. Thanks to local councillors for their support!

📢We soft launched the first #RepairCafe in Bridge of Weir, #Renfrewshire in January. 5 repairers fixed anything from jackets to hedge cutters, 6 helpers baked cake/ensured a smooth experience for all. 13 items were repaired and saved from landfill! See you at the public launch on 8 Feb!🎉♻️

Creating a Sustainable Gryffe is a charity in Renfrewshire/Inverclyde. We aim to make the villages along the Gryffe valley more sustainable. We will launch a repair cafe in 2025, which will help keep items out of landfill and save money, while building skills and community.
