Rusty and the Pussy Cats

Pet grief is so weird. I thought I was ready for a new boy, agreed to foster a sweet boy with the intention to adopt if he got along with the girls. However within days I realized I am not ready. Still going to foster him but I can’t fully open my heart yet.

21 of these sweeties have already been trapped and have been relocated. Volunteers are out today to get the remaining 9 for a total of 30. Any donations are appreciated. We will post photos of them happily devouring your donations. You're the best.

Lyric has been in foster with friend for over a year. She was actually born in her foster home. Through no fault of hers all of her adoptions have fallen thru. Lyric would love to be adopted into a home with other cats. She is adoptable thru HART in Sterling VA

Our last little shark Lemon has finally been adopted! She’s settling in already and her family is so happy to have her! It was little weird not waking up to pounces and purrs from this girl but so excited for her 🧡

Omg exciting news! Tiger, Blue and Dusky have all been adopted! Tiger went to a home with other cats and the boys got adopted together!

Tiger is available for adoption!

Blue and the rest of the Sharks are now available for adoption from HART in the DMV!

And finally there is Goblin Shark. Teeny Tiny Goblin sadly passed away over the weekend 🌈. However he should be known. He loved to be held and perch on my shoulder like a parrot. Please remember to vaccinate and spay and neuter. You will be missed little Gobby

Introducing Queen Tiger Shark! She is the biggest of the litter. She will fight for her rightful place on the thrown (my knee/lap) and jump into battle without a care (playtime)!

🌈 Rusty 1/11/2016 - 3/26/2025 🌈
We said goodbye to Rusty at the end of March. He was loved so much and is missed so much but now he’s no longer in pain. He was such a good boy, he had a huge personality, he did tricks, dressed up, taught kittens how to cat. He was our baby boy and we love him 🧡

I’m not a fan of April Fools, but one time I actually pranked myself with this *brilliant* knitting idea and that’s a victimless crime right? #KnittingForKittens

Well Rusty might be dying of cancer but he won’t let a churu go uneaten yet. Just taking in all the little moment while we have them!
