It'd make the most sense for it to be. Clearly this leaked Direct (most likely a Mini) is meant for the last handful of Switch 1 exclusive titles that are ready to be announced.

That's not how that works. Rumors and info can leak early on long before things are ready to be announced. Also, the last Direct we had that could've had the game in it... was in June of last year. It's been MONTHS since the last general Direct.

Ok... I feel like him leaking the Switch 2 reveal and sticking to it even when Nintendo didn't announce anything and people claiming he was wrong is enough reason to trust him. He was right in the end, proving himself to have actual info.

The second volume of the Chiaki DR2 manga came in, and it gave us swimsuit designs for Mikan and Ibuki (Mikan’s being close to her DRS one but has some differences and Ibuki’s is entirely different.)

I like this Ibuki swimsuit design more than what we got in DRS.

The game runs perfectly fine on Switch 1 and looks great.
The only thing a Switch 2 version would have is the few particle effects that were removed in the Switch 1 version.
