I’m rooting for a coronary

I have been known to be particularly heavy with wire tie strap usage, and have discovered wire loom cable management wrap, so I use a lot of that. But if something has to change, it’s a huge pain.

I felt the ending was unsatisfying, at least in the moment. But after a few days, I think it was ok, because it really wasn’t about that. Like that was the setting and backdrop, but the story was something else. Kinda like civil war, it was about something besides a civil war.

I’ve spent way too much time doing this kind of thing, usually just to add something later on and then before you know it, it’s just laying all over the place anyway.

I am getting a ton of mileage out of this cartoon.

The President wants to use the military to crack down on Americans who are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to oppose him. I can’t think of a better reason to insist on exercising those rights.

After some thought on this, the current category system is fine. 1-5 is easily identified by the public and conveys bad to the worst possible and people get that. Adding a 6 diminishes a 5, even if it’s the same. A new system would be complicated and people would tune out.

Def gonna be 2026. Need a trial run first and foremost. But also won’t want to take any chances that an opposition supermajority sneaks in that can override potus.

Would def be an interesting discussion. I’d be willing to listen to the pros and cons of a cat 6 (or whatever), but I agree that a new scale would not be helpful, there are way too many factors about tropical cyclones that can’t really be wrapped up into a nice single fancy category.

Thanks to some vigilant friends out there, I have a nearly-complete 87-hour radar loop of #Melissa 's approach to #Jamaica. The loop abruptly ends when the radar is lost (either loss of communication with it or loss of the actual structure).

#Melissa unfortunately is still intensifying. A 9am EDT Tropical Cyclone Update indicates that winds are up to 180 mph, with an estimated minimum pressure of 896 mb.

You can see how GLM lightning has 📈 in the past hour, encircling the eye, with eye WV temp still increasing!

Is it usually after eyeball replacement that the storm fans out and becomes bigger?

How about making a new model that uses the most accurate parts of each model?
