pikmin 1 is one of the most perfect games i've ever played and i am not joking. i seriously can not think of a flaw that impacts the gameplay for me in any way. people dislike how clumsy and sometimes stupid pikmin are, but that makes sense to me. you're domesticating them in real time lol

condemned criminal origins is one of the best horror games i've played if you ignore that fuck ass tazer they give you that automatically wins any encounter with no effort. if they ever remaster the game, give the tazer very limited ammo! please!

i've enjoyed some anime in my time well enough, even really liked some, but i've never found any that connected with me deeply. the way something like bojack horseman, the sopranos, better call saul, etc. dungeon meshi is one of my favorite shows of all time and i genuinely love it to bits.

something i grew to appreciate quickly is that the bear isn't the "angry yelling show" all of the time, like most of the clips that get posted would have you think. there's so many quiet moments, happy moments. the show is amazing at balancing tones

I feel more from watching someone else's recording of their conversations with the master/ frank Horrigan than really anything in 3/4. even when i was much younger, james' death in 3 made me feel nothing. everything in bethesda fallout makes me feel nothing. elder scrolls gets a pass from me-

with like a vietnam war wild west hybrid that brings an entirely new message and emotion along with it. people can argue emotion and theming don't matter, and i wouldn't press them on that. but it's kind of sad that fallout doesn't make me feel anything

what emotion does 4 want the player to feel? i really don't know. it's not very funny, and it also doesn't take itself too seriously. its visual design doesn't bring out any emotions in me, and the lore doesn't really either. nv also moved away from its horror roots, but it was replaced-

watched a youtube video a few days back about how fallout 1 and 2 both feature a lot of horror adjacent concepts/ designs and how the 3d games moved away from that, and that really kind of opened my eyes. is there anything thematically, artistically challenging in the current era of fallout? 1/?

pretty happy i was born when i was, but holy hell i wish i could have experienced the metal gear series as it released. i can't even imagine what 4 felt like for people who had loved the series since 1 came out
