Back to my routine after a two week vacation in Italy.

Two backpacks and two carryon suitcases for two people on a two week trip through Italy.

A day in Rome. A 400 year old church where I lit candles and prayed for the well being of the world. Then the colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman forum, ancient history reminding me that not much has changed. But it was a gorgeous day.

And our trip begins

60. Counting the hours until our flight departs for Italy.

I had 79 weeks of meditation before I became ill with the flu and then covid. I didnt meditate for two weeks. Back at it for two weks now. At least the app retained my days and hours.

Will there be an appeal? This is horrible.

Well. We reached that point last summer when the SCOTUS decided that trump is above and beyond the law.

Back to meditating and setting my intentions for the day. I refuse to let the disaster created by the current admin in this country destroy my equilibrium. And I will continue to resist their efforts as best as I can. That takes effort and intentionality.

Obv he’s not wrong. I mean the SCOTUS has his back as well as the GOP in Congress. I don’t get it. How these people can live with themselves?
