It's not paranoia if it's true. Unfortunately, that's probably the point. At least in the US. Since they can't legally ban "adult content" they're forcing them out with unreasonable policies. Either comply and lose viewers who won't, or don't comply and lose them all. It's really messed up.

They don't care about kids. Since they can't get rid of the US 1st amendment, they're going another route. Making unreasonable policies that force ethical adult content creators to make their stuff unavailable in certain areas or lose users who refuse to give doxable info. Forced self censoring.

Interesting that he chose those 3 ethnicities considering Irish were not originally considered white. Not to mention the historic issues between England, Ireland, and Scotland.

What does he mean by "citizenship"? You already can't vote unless you're a citizen. And in the territories, you can't vote even if you are a citizen.

Discord has been caught lying. Discord caught ditching its current age verification provider for Persona after bypasses appeared everywhere. They promised "facial scans never leave your device" and no uploads, but now they send your IDs and data to a third-party company.

It won't make anything safer. Kids always find ways to be where they shouldn't. Forcing people to upload their face or ID is very risky. No security is perfect. Once hackers get the information, they can use it to blackmail or steal identities. It's not like showing ID for alcohol.

Yeah , but that's the problem. The age restricted areas already did their part by being age restricted. That is enough. Forcing the adults who use it legally to risk potential doxing won't make it "safer."
It will cause a lot of creators who did nothing wrong to cancel their nitro and leave.
