I am grateful to be on the second part of my life instead of the first. I, too, take solace in the fact that I won't be alive with the results of this era for an extended period of time. I never pictured the life we are in now possible, which only shows how under utilized our imaginations are. Ugh.

I earned my PhD in self care out of necessity, and I'm proud to report I graduated valedictorian. What I didn't realize during my studies is how imperative it would be to have it for survival in this era. Those skills have shown me how to hang on to my joy and health instead of burning on outrage.

I cheer each and every time another person adopts this thinking! Welcome to the club where the water is warm and the view is bright. This is where we each have the final say over the stories in our lives and others' power over them drifts away. Shine as brightly as you desire.
