Local brick and mortar bookstores, I'm begging you as a school librarian, offer an educator discount. 20% is ideal. 10-15% isn't good enough to pull us off Ingram or even Amazon, and esp not when that discount is only for purchasing multiple copies of rhe same title.

School truly needs a structural change. But if school structure changes then all of society / corporate world needs an adjustment & that won’t work for capitalism 😒

Also I really miss teaching the youth but I do NOT miss that tight ass schedule in K-12. If we can really adjust the structure of school I think so many teacher and children would be happy
