This is entirely understandable. I adore the DA devs & will forever mourn The Scouring of the Shire by EA, but I also appreciate wanting to keep them safe & happy. I’ve been thrilled to find & follow them/support their new projects as I can, but agree that A List could hurt more than help, I dunno.

As someone who reads every weapon/item description and codex entry slurping up beautiful, lovely lore along the way, this statement fills me with incandescent rage. Which, really, is just one flaming branch of an entire forest fire of AI-related anger…

If there’s anything more at a fan level we can do to be supportive, let me know. For now I continue to try and find/follow former devs to watch for their new projects, keep playing Dragon Age, keep writing fanfic to keep the flame alive, and keep supporting fellow fanart/fanfics for the same reason.

I honestly wanna chew glass every time I see one of these articles pop up. I love Veilguard, as much as I love the previous 3 games. And it tears my heart out that the team got nuked and scattered.

As a kid, my joints were super loose. I managed to literally break a bone on the top of my foot from… walking in socks on a wood floor and my left ankle rolling up under me, causing me to fall right down on it. Still (ironically knocks on wood) the only bone I’ve ever broken to this day.

Welp, I’m scarred for life now. Thanks, Trick.

I’m honestly pissed off on y’all’s behalf. I’m on my second playthrough and cherishing it. The launch reaction has Andromeda vibes, which also got deluged and then later many went “wait, this is a good game” after the damage was already done. 😭
