This fight isn't left vs right. It's Big Money vs the little guys.
While working families are struggling, the top 0.1% saw their wealth nearly double since the pandemic to over $23 TRILLION.

Lt Col (Ret) USAF, USN Vet, Former Wind Cave National Park Ranger, Husband & Father now running for Senate to stand up for people who work for a living.

South Dakotans know hard work. We are tired of politicians telling us to push through the hard times while corporations at the top continue to profit. We are tired of bailouts for other countries while our agriculture markets dissolve. This economy is failing us today.
16.10.2025 21:12 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1The U.S. economy has its weakest job growth since 2010. Job openings are down, prices are up. Millions are unemployed.
We need Senators that advocate for regular people, not the ultra-rich and powerful.
While it's still Native Americans' Day, I also wanted to share this:
The 1890 Wounded Knee Massacre was just that: a massacre. Attempting to overwrite it as a "battle" as the DoD did last month is ahistorical and disrespectful to South Dakotans.
Today we celebrate the cultures & contributions of Native peoples, while reflecting on the unjust legacy of displacement & assimilation. Let's continue to teach and learn that history.
Happy Native Americans' Day, South Dakota.
It is no secret that Washington doesn't work for working people.
Why would we send Mike Rounds back to Washington for another six years when he helped create this mess in the first place.
Politicians have put parties ahead of people for far too long now.
Our elected leaders can't even do their basic job to keep the government open. SD deserves better.
I pledge to always put people ahead of partisanship.
If Mike Rounds lets ACA tax credits expire, the best case scenario is that out-of-pocket costs for South Dakotan families will more than double.
That will crush working families, not to mention everyone else who will be squeezed out of healthcare.
Insurers are already warning families: without ACA credits, healthcare premiums could nearly double in 2026. While Washington can't get its head on straight, millions of American families will lose coverage.
08.10.2025 01:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The job market is limping along, our farmers can't sell their produce, & grocery bills keep climbing. SD's Senators haven't done anything to solve the problem b/c they care more about toeing the party line.
I care about serving South Dakotans, not party politics.
20 million Americans depend on ACA premium tax credits. If Mike Rounds allows them to expire, health care premiums will skyrocket for South Dakotans.
06.10.2025 14:56 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Since 2021, we've known that these ACA provisions expire December 2025. Only in Washington would you wait four years until the last minute, and then object to fixing the problem by claiming you haven't had enough time to work on it. Four years isn't enough?
05.10.2025 22:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is what happens when you give control of the Pentagon to a weekend TV host with zero management experience. This guy has no business being either the Secretary of Defense or War.
04.10.2025 23:35 β π 0 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Let me get this straight:
We give $20 BILLION of our hard earned tax dollars to bail out Argentina, then China buys Argentinian soybeans at above market price while our farmersβ harvests rot in the fields.
When will Mike Rounds stand up for South Dakota farmers?
The Hatch Act prohibits use of federal resources for partisan political activity. This & similar messages from federal agencies are clear violations.
Where is Mike Rounds? If he doesn't care about the rule of law, what else is he willing to ignore?
Both SD Senators watched tariffs hurt our farmers in 2018, but they are still silent as it happens again.
These politicians have left S Dakotans behind. That's why I'm stepping up as an Independent candidate for U.S. Senate.
Senator Mike Rounds supports a Comey prosecution for "accountability" but opposes releasing the Epstein Files b/c "This is not the right way to do it."
What is the right way to do it Mike? Why the hypocrisy as you ignore everything South Dakotans care about?
Premiums for healthcare plans in the Affordable Care Act are projected to rise $700 on average next year. Families are already stretched thin by rising grocery and housing costs, all while insurers keep posting record profits.
29.09.2025 17:25 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Grocery prices have seen their biggest month-to-month jump since 2022. Coffee is up 21% year-over-year. Beef is up almost 14%. Families can't afford it.
Regular folks playing by the rules are struggling while corporate interests buy our politicians and continue to profit.
Bailing out SD farmers with tariff funds that screwed over those farmers in the first place isnβt just robbing Peter to pay Paul, itβs robbing Paul to pay himself.
Mike Rounds let them (and the rest of us) get ripped off.
Actions speak louder than words.
This Administration and Congress talk a big game about helping working people, but regular folks aren't seeing it. This government is creating an economy that only benefits CEOs and billionaires.
Society must favor work over wealth to maximize productivity and prosperity for all.
America did that in the post WWII era (when it was great) but weβve been going in the opposite direction for decades as the tax code reflects.
The same people who want to give billionaires more tax breaks next year are trying to hollow out IRS funding this year.
Do you think it's a coincidence that restored IRS funding recently allowed the agency to recover $1 BILLION from wealthy tax cheats?
Fund the IRS.
Big Business poured $425 MILLION into the election.
Most of it went to candidates who promised to keep their taxes low.
Many of these industries are set to receive billions apiece in yearly tax cuts if Trump renews his tax scam.
This is how big money rigs the system.
Confirmation power is vested exclusively with the Senate so the House has no input. Its one of those pesky checks & balances.
The Speaker of the House conspiring with the executive to undermine the Senate's power may be the first constitutional guardrail to break.
