Does Harvard & Columbia still have records of Trumpβs applications and rejections?

Candy ass pseudo toughness. Beat up on the defenseless then drink the weakest beer possible to celebrate the conquest. Sad

25.08.2025 22:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I will also say that back when I had convos with CFOs they were always saying they couldnβt do things D administrations wanted them to do b/c theyβd face shareholder suits. Giving away 10% of the company is a much bigger deal than anything we discussed
25.08.2025 22:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Thanks. I was wondering if something such as that might preclude. It sounds like it wouldnβt be immediately dismissed and forcing Intel to articulate what of tangible value it received would have some entertainment value

25.08.2025 20:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is there a shareholder lawsuit in this? It diluted the value of shareholders stock 10% in exchange for nothing tangible. Also, it's, in effect, a 10% tax on Intel's dividends. Only Congress can levy tax. Is it voluntary & not a tax? All taxes are paid b/c of threats from gov't, one way or another

13.08.2025 12:51 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm skeptical that U.S. Senate would have done it and it would have disrupted other priorities. We'll never know of course, and the broader point of Ds not being aggressive enough when they have power is legit.
13.08.2025 12:50 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0When do you think there were the votes in Congress for DC to be made a state?
12.08.2025 18:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Ds need to be clear. If Trump starts arresting D leaders based on nothing, there is going to be an uprising in this country not seen since the civil war

22.07.2025 15:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you assume all the rescissions in the rescissions bill stick and that the budget accounts never get additional plusups in future years, then Republicans would need to do another 35 rescissions bills the size of what they did last week in order to pay for the big beautiful bill.
21.07.2025 19:14 β π 56 π 19 π¬ 1 π 0Ironically. The bumper sticker was from me having worked at the Atlanta Legal Aid Society and it said "Justice, It's What We're All About" (The ALAS connection was in small print)

15.07.2025 14:27 β π 19 π 2 π¬ 0 π 1If instead of giving $117 billion to the richest 1 percent, that money had been evenly divided among all Americans, we'd each get $343 - or nearly $1,400 for a family of four.

30.05.2025 14:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This, btw, demonstrates the value of pre-poll focus groups. They can break you out of the limitations of your narrow world view to understand the wide range of ways the people you are surveying think about things
